Nishi Disposals

Juanito Deharo has been so kind as to offer me some prims to put out some trees and things for sale. I have changed permissions to make almost everything copy/mod and should you need anything....... just pop over here.

Meanwhile, in InWorldz, I have set out a small oak forest and some few trees at Angel's Loft....

Jeri Rahja who owns Angel's Loft has some spare prims and would like to sponsor anyone who makes quality stuff with some space as she hasn't used up her 45,000 yet...so...if you need some space to set things out, or display some art, get in touch with her, or talk to me first.

This would be a good way to get a bit of a foothold in IWz...... after all, fast, easy, fun might get a bit much .......

Miso, Wizzy and I solving the worlds problems by the light of the moon last night....

all cool..

"It's fast, easy fun, Gromit", Wallace smiled....

I had more important and interesting things to do than attend the Wallace and Gromit show, like...count my ears for example...

...so....like any good slogan, Fast Easy Fun, is one of those things that really doesn't say anything, but promises masses to the masses.

Fast....now, that is partly dependent on your graphics card, partly on your ISP and partly on the number of dodgy scripts being run on the sim you are in....so...Fast...is that then some promise of a reduction in lag? Short on details, of course...

Easy... hmmm. It was an unfortunate waste of 30 minutes last night when I got hold of the TV remote and checked out what the world of Virtual Sofas has to offer. Reality TV is a lot about Stupid People...like Stupid People Who Can't Raise Kids, Stupid People Who Can't Eat Properly...etc. so...does the Easy refer to People Too Stupid To Download A Viewer? oh great, look forward to having a few million of them in SL...

Fun... well...with a few extra million Stupid People in here it will be a ball...

The reality is often of course Orwellian Language Corruption.... (i.e. Ministry of Peace being the War Mongrels..)...so I offer this Reality check...

Slow, Hard, Misery....... SL must be then seen as Slow, Hard and Miserable for the new slogan to work.. but Fast, Easy, Fun are all relative concepts...soo...compared to what? ...to how it is at the moment? Is that Faster, Easier and Funnier?... Gromit scatched his head.... "my head hurts" he said.

and.....SUCH A BAD MOVE (Number 465).. IT IS TRUE.... Philip is, of course, far to busy to go to the SLCC. "Darn customers always shout at me, so I'm not talking to them anymore...."

" Rosedale’s speech will be delivered in world and simultaneously webcast to attendees of the Second Life Community Convention in Boston on Saturday morning."

...so...the rumours were correct.... tho I haven't yet identified who dumped 100 sims, I did a little investigative journalism (like 10 minutes) and found out that sims are being dumped at about twice the speed of new ones coming online...and the average land prices have plummeted....not that we didn't know that already, of course.....and logins have just plateaued along with cash flow, inworld profits and everything...

So, all in all, good that Philip doesn't waste his time or money on a plane ticket to Boston when a phone call will do....there's only gonna be customers there anyway.

"Right" said Wallace...

:)))

Wallace and Gromit update...

"UPDATE: For those who didn’t get drawn in the lottery to attend, you’ll be able to watch, listen, and read the video, audio, and text transcription of the event live as it happens at http://slevents.treet.tv/slmeeting/. Treet.TV will stream the entire event, and Virtual Ability will provide a live text transcription in a dedicated IRC channel on the Treet.TV page.

Attendees will be able to direct questions to Philip and BK via an inworld IM to our moderator, Wallace Linden, and we’ll also be taking questions on Twitter: just direct a Tweet to @secondlife.

For those who were selected to attend, please arrive at the event a few minutes ahead of time and plan to get started at 10am PST. As noted above, Philip and BK will speak for approximately 30 minutes, and the second half of the hour will be devoted to questions, before we wrap up at 11am. We look forward to seeing you inworld!

Thanks,

Wallace"

hmmm... sounds far too grown up for me....well...boring.

....and... starting now......a protest about the Gulf Oil Spill, well...excuse me, but is that really of any use?? Crying over spilt milk, we all do, at times...but getting righteous and indignant when someone else did it... not sure I see the point. There is surely no-one who disagrees that it was bad, wrong, and nasty...so, preaching to the converted has always seemed like a self-satisfied hobby to me...

In other news....i finally got some good shoes in IWz.....

..from Sunny Whitfield...

and...I have another little build InWorldz at Angel's Loft, thanks to Jeri's generosity... photos tomorrow...

and....another garage sale in SL...photos to follow..

....the weather remains fair.

:))

Rumours or reality.....

I heard, and have not been able to confirm or deny ....Philip will NOT be at the SLCC in person.

I have been told, by a very reliable source, that on the back of this news "a man" quit 100 sims and walked out of SL... maybe the twitters know things I don't...will be interesting to hear...

As if the stupid meeting wasn't bad enough....lottery tickets for the right to Twitter the boss...lol... and wallace and Gromit Linden will moderate...heheheh...sounds like a laugh...not.....then to add insult to injury, it seems Philip is too busy to talk to his customers in person, at SLCC, and will do so by phone, sorry...telesomething device....

This news, if true, is just catastrophic, and sadly likely......

How can so many people (the Boys) know so little about PR???

Waiting to hear......

Garage sale....

Spurred on by Bau Ur, and with the generous donation of a piece of land by Oona Ra, I have set out a few pieces for sale ...here.

the idea is that some people may have missed the last day I was at the beach and not managed to grab another Nishi product to help fill their invents...:)))

"Prism Lila is a growth oriented community, focused on promoting harmony and friendship between its residents and beyond. Our theme is 'play to learn and grow.'"... and they have land for hire if you would like to be a part of their community....

"We are a friendly community, and we haven't really had any problems that can't be settled between neighbors. The rules are intended to give all of us the things we want as a community.

The most important rule is this: Embrace the art of living and live colourfully."

Well, I certainly try...

I am here for a fortnight...

:)))

InWorldz, in depth...

So... as I usually just hint at topics and never research anything....I thought I would break with tradition and actually get to grips with the subject for once....

...this time InWorldz, now I have been asked a few 'proper' questions about it and so....I passed these onto the Founders of IW and asked..... "...so....what on earth made you decide to start a grid?..., and how did you go about getting it together???..."

Elenia cleared her desk, sat down and replied....

"What made us start a grid?

I can answer for myself, Legion will need to answer for himself. I remember the first time I entered SL (was after some news report I was watching) and being amazed that the platform existed. It was cool, it was neat, I was impressed. Then I dug into how to build, met some good friends along the way, and opened my store. I gave away a chair for free, was one of my Hudson chairs. And I got several IM's from people yelling at me saying "this is too many prims, it's worthless". This was very disheartening to me. I'm not a solid sculptie builder. I see the effect they have on just rezzing in someplace, and I didn't want all my stuff to be just like everyone else's due to SL's "prim economy" demands.

So, my good friend, Bob told me of another VW. Where there were much better limits and megaprims and all that. So I tried it out. I met Legion and quite a few others there. We were there for a long time. We went through so many headaches, so many false promises, that it was staggering. In February, 2009, I did the first testing of the OpenSim grid software, and we were all able to log in. Mind you, these were really icky machines to be testing it on, but it was cheap and just enough to see if we had the technical aptitude to pull it off. By April, 2009, we actually had people who WANTED to support us, friends mostly from the other grid, and we had a very bare bones, very erm, well ugly, website. We were amazed by the fact that we had people who were willing to support us with actual... well money! So we started doing upgrades, moving to better systems, learning new software that runs behind the OpenSim, looking for a real grid dev.

We made the decision back in Aug. 2009 to split completely away from the Opensimulator project as we did not see them going in the direction we desired to go in. Back, then you could literally shoot a cannon through InWorldz (ok, so no physics, but metaphorically speaking hehe), and not have hit another soul on the grid. We were excited if there were 5 people online... so what if they were ourselves lol!

Our biggest hurdle, was actually the holiday season 2009. Between the economic downturn and the general distrust in VW's themselves on the OS platform, we went through a minor loss there. It's also when we picked up Tranq along the line and started getting him familiar with the OS code. By January, he was reworking the group module and familiarizing himself with where things were at and how the foundation was laid.

By April of 2010, some significant code changes had been made, things that people wanted to work, were (may still be buggy, and not completed yet, but were there nevertheless). This started a huge change in our population growth, as our residents were out there telling everyone they could about us. And, we gotta give a shout to Rock, for his wonderful interview in Feb. 2010 too, as that shot more people in by us, who in turn, started supporting us. And well, here we are today, a mere 1 year and 5 months later.

Who are the oldest residents and which were the first regions??

Ahhh, we have a few of those. Bladax originally came over with Erasmus, but when Erasmus left, Blad took over one of the regions, then expanded to another mainland region... These would be Bali and Newark Top today. We then have Jim and Jo Smart, who started off with just simple little old Relaxin, and who now own Cassis and San Diego Mall in conjunction with Relaxin. We have GaiusJulius CaesarAugustus and Rosa Dagostino, both of whom started off completely as separate entities with Rosa owning Cactus Flats, and Gaius owning a couple of regions: Adirahuriye I and II (he likes to challenge my typing skills I swear it!). Scotsgraymouser Janus, with her lovely Equilibrium, who also helped us in our search for a grid dev, and found Tranq for us She now owns Tesseract and Isle of Alchemy (which she just loves to challenge us period with these regions hehehe).

Number two (most common question) is do they have the stamina to carry on for a long time til it gets more stable...(vitamin pills may be the answer..)....

Stamina... is a daily challenged thing for us! I live on a diet of caffeine first thing in the morning and it doesn't much improve after that lol. Actually, we've been amazed at the growth. And I think that drives us more than anything at this point. Our residents have so much hope for us, and occasionally we do get worn down but a day or two away and we usually come back ready to battle the code bugs again. Simple fact is, all three of us, as Founders, have the same ideals and dreams for this grid. Which is hard to find among three people. Sure we may have varying opinions or stray ideas here and there, but at the end of the day, the big picture is what we're all focused and agreed on.

As time goes on, it's become easier for us to jump over varying hurdles, finding people like Jim Tarber, who are willing to throw themselves into the fray and help us means more to us than most people realize I think. We get so many offers from people to help, and picking and choosing between them can be interesting. One thing we do know, is our community is strong, thriving, helpful not just to us in finding bugs and working with us, but between each other. And that really lifts a huge burden off our shoulders and let's us focus on the important things that need our attention.

So do we have the stamina? Well, I would say we have the passion, the dream, the determination, and the wonderful support from our residents, to keep us going."

...all of which I consider to be very useful info, so thanks for taking the time Elenia....

Lifted from a forum discussion about the future.......

Elenia said..."I can safely assure you that there are zero plans for Havok. We're looking at the PhysX engine by NVidia for our physics engine. While we're trying to reach the level of functionality as SL, there is so much more we want to do beyond that once we've reached that level. Also means we are tweaking things now to provide those things later on.

I know I spoke to Tranq the other night and he has some very high priority things on his plate (outside of Mantis issues) such as the assets and backup system, the networking stack and I asked him to somewhere in there slot the finishing up of Voice for our residents. What he plans beyond that, he'll need to lay out. One of the unfortunate side effects of grid development, is no matter how much of a roadmap you lay out, you have to roll with the day to day stuff and that can sometimes severely detour the roadmap. But there is a large picture there of what we're working on.

Some shorter term issues: Finish the search capabilities, some minor fixes to the profile tabs, Estate fixes, group fixes (there is quite a few there that need to be addressed), script engine rewrite, Voice implementation, physics implementation, j2k decoding module fix. Those are the biggies plaguing us at the moment for fixing (this is all just grid side). Tranq has his plans laid out for all of this.

Longer term objectives: Obviously the much debated traffic module and how best to implement that, models/meshes, inworld weather system for sim owners, and RPG modules.

We have seen a huge increase in stability over the last week or so, however, we still have the deadlocks to contend with before moving on to the big stuff that our residents really want."

Lalo asked..."Does OpenSimulator's release of version 0.7 have any relevance to the discussion?"...

Legion ..."Not really, as we stopped taking 'fixes' from OS once Tranq dug in to the code. We want stability, and despite
predictions that we would not have the features if we forked from the OS code, I think we actually have more
features to speak of than elsewhere.

The main concern for the three of us as Founders is that we have a stable world. We have talked about this, and the
main push is to become as 'stable' as Second Life, and move on from there into areas they can't, or won't attempt.

We have the opportunity, and the motivation to do so. This comes from our devs abilities, and our residents support and
trust in us."

and TranquilityDexler confirmed......."No sir. We're forked from the opensim project at this point. The opensim project and inworldz have different goals. As such we are concentrating less on the 'next new feature' and more on the core changes our customers need to be happy here. So the development process is different, it is based on customer request and report, and results in us being able to better predict effects of code that is changed and added."

and of the future he added...."These are very very rough timelines. Obviously when we get into some of these projects we may find other issues that need to be dealt with.

The next 1-3 months. Continued stability work, backend work to enable fast growth (assets, database etc), sim lag and performance issues for large groups of avatars. Continued work on builders bugs, linking unlinking issues will be a focus. Networking improvements to prevent drops on busy sims. Hopefully hunt down and kill the psychedelic swiss cheese bug

Possibly in between as we need it: Better handling of shared world state (presence, friends, making sure IMs get delivered). Depending on resident demand.

The following 3 months. Continued work on script functions and misc "smaller bugs" like estates and groups issues. PhysX implementation with large scale testing and debugging. Work on memory fragmentation and pinned object/other resource leaks (sim uptime).

This will take care of the majority of the most annoying issues our residents have reported.

We will also be bringing people on to revamp website functionality in the near future (< 1 month)."

Now, I would be a fool not to admit that most of this goes so far over my head that I just smile. I do, however, think it would be impossible to get this sort of discussion going with any of the Lindens, as the SLCC will no doubt prove, with lots of vague promises and little substance....and Tranq's answer seems to me to be (in Soronese translation)..."I'm gonna roll my sleeves up and keep crunching code til it works...(better than SL, eventually)..." ..and I like that.....

...and, I'm fascinated by the psychedelic swiss cheese bug.....poor little bug....sounds like his days are numbered.

All sorts of bloggy stuff....

Well, those this may look like a well-known and famous otter, it is actually uninhabited prims, so far, Taralyn Gravois and I put this together InWorldz for a certain someone.... [a collab? you exclaim....yes....I can work with other people...]

This is my latest orchid, Orchis Inworldzii, and I have no plans currently to rebuild it in SL...but we will see... it's a bit primmy, and that is, of course, no problem on IW... so it may be exclusive like some of my new trees until some future date where import/export is enabled....

Jimmy Debruyere built this lovely piece and is showing it at UWA...time to go check out the works there, before July ends at the votes are all cast. Pixi Cosmos has a lovely piece there which I am v happy about as she is a very modest person but talented and creative.....and there are loads of amazing pieces there...

My beach photo....June 2007.... I have been surprised at how many people used to visit without me knowing...guess I should have put in a counter....

There are still bloggers and well-wishers commenting on the party and the beach, Brinda says the music was "Without a doubt the best music I've heard at any venue in any life"...so that's quite a quote for the Born Again Pagans...:)).. Lalo mentions it in a very good post on SL and stuff...and for those that haven't seen it....Snickers post about Xstreet is superb (nothing to do with a beach)...

While we are on a bit of nostalgia...this was the DJ desk for my opening party 2007 with Timewave2012 Planer on the decks....

I cleaned up after me...no crisp packets or tinnies....

...and this is my little Dragon Lair at 900 meters, no tier, my 512 plus my alts..... Kaltusaran Moonsoo's dragon and I.....it feels very 'free'...and looking at my SL account summary....I am certain I have made the right decision.

Smiles all round...

No Tier, No Tears...

It was a great send-off... The Born Again Pagans, Madame and Hexx provided both music and fireworks, sponsored by my generous friend Maeve and the party-goers provided the witty chat that had us all amused and kicking, and, as you would expect, stunning outfits too.

The place was full of the Arteratti of SL, goddesses, superheros, artistic geniuses, the air was thick with talent. Over 30 people but not too laggy....

What a very pleasant bunch of people I am lucky enough to know.

Thanks to all for a great send off...now........if I can just file these items.....I'll be abandoning land today..

Erosion of the beach...

Firstly let me thank you all for your kind words, summed up in Juanita’s blog, concerning how the beach will be missed.... even in Japan??

I have to agree that losing parts of our history is always a shame, and the fact that some greater builds than mine have been lost doesn’t mean that even the smallest loss isn’t an erosion, it is.

Gardening is a bit like that, though, some plants do well and thrive over time whereas others fade quickly and we are left with just the memory and maybe a few photos. I hope, however, that what has been planted has shown what is possible, and that people who have seen the beach know, now, that stupid Photo-On-Stick trees are not the only solution to beautifying this, or any other world.

Landlords are similar in all worlds, the difference here is that no-one owns their own home, we are all renting, all tenants. In RL I spent the money I should have used to tie myself for life to a bank on airplane fuel to travel the world so I have, as a consequence, known quite a few landlords.

I have had landlords that steal from me, lie to me and those that have behaved impeccably too. One thing they do tend to have in common though is that once they have your money they are reluctant to make any improvements to the property... sound familiar?....

Just as in SL, you can’t withhold rent as you get evicted, and they don’t have to improve your place as it is actually their place... you own nothing apart from your furniture and clothes.....in SL you don’t even own those...

But, the great thing about being a tenant is that you can shake the dust from your feet and move on. You are completely mobile. True you might have to leave some stuff behind, but you, your personality, your experiences and skill are completely mobile.

When I first came to SL over 3 years ago I was warned by those kind souls who showed me ‘in’ that I might lose everything as the future of SL was uncertain. I, however, was convinced then, as now, that the ‘gold’ I would carry off with me was the skills and experience I would have gained. I had not, at that time, foreseen the real gold which is, as you all know, friends.

I will not be leaving behind any friends, I’m not going anywhere, just sending my inventory up near the 20,000 mark...

.....and pocketing my cash.

:))

Fuck tier, let’s party!!

3pm SLT saturday...soror Nishi Beach.. The Born Again Pagans followed by fireworks.

Delusion

A delusion, in everyday language, is a fixed belief that is either false, fanciful, or derived from deception......

"The other key short term goal is to very rapidly make Viewer 2.x the best and most widely-used Second Life viewer. We are unifying efforts across the lab to make this viewer both the best-performing and the most functionally capable for all different users, as well as hopefully becoming the underlying codebase for lots of third party development."

Now, I accept that I am no expert, but.... if you release a product that is the most dismal failure, and, in spite of the fact that more than 50% of your customers refuse to use it... you carry on , determined that it is basically all right "just needs a few tweaks".....well, I would say you are delusional.

"Give a dog a bad name..." is an old english saying, the second part of the saying is.... " and shoot it". I am sure, beyond doubt, that any marketing 'expert' would say that from the initial release of Viewer 2.0 and its reception there is no way on Earth to make it the "best and most widely-used Second Life viewer". That is not just optimistic enthusiasm, that is delusive.

In fact, it has gone so badly wrong that call it Viewer 3.0, or 4.0, you have and will always have lost a HUGE percentage of users. people with long memories, "once bitten, twice shy" as we are exploring the folkiness of the english language.....

....and, if you can't as CEO understand this, and are still.."unifying efforts across the lab to make this viewer both the best-performing and the most functionally capable for all different users".... then you are continuing to waste time and money.

Luckily, not mine...

after tonight....

:))

Burn 2.0 and burn the viewer at the same time.

Viewer 2.0, the most hated viewer ever, has become the official SL viewer now that it's thro its Beta testing...(LOL)...and burning it would be a great idea.

Maybe it is necessary to dump the million users SL now has in order to get its hands on the fictional 200 million it now seeks. I have the strong feeling that all the important, decision making people at LL feel that in essence, THEY ARE RIGHT AND WE ARE WRONG. If this is the case then we are on a hiding to nowhere, and might as well retreat in the face of loony generals. It's good to know what can and can't be changed...they say.

...and Burning Life I find as awful as the viewer... so Artists Endowment of the Lindens takes another turn in its development.... we can truely say now that the Boys do nothing for the Arts.....tho lending builders 40 sims for a couple of weeks was really no big deal......the rules were.

Good riddance..... you won't see me so much as sigh.

In other breaking news... this blog hits 30,000 visits (roughly 50,000 page turns...)....cool dudes read this stuff...

.... and Party confirmed at my beach for Saturday 3 pm SLT.... it's my "bye, bye Tier" Party.... all welcome... it's gonna be a real bash...

Born Again Pagans are playing live, followed by fireworks.

....be there or be elsewhere...

Show by Rod Mandel

This might be a show you would like to pop along to...

Rod Mandel
Your Assumption is Correct
July 19, 2010 – August 30, 2010

Lovers Lane Studios at ::: Soup ::: Magoo is proud to present “Your Assumption is Correct” a process-driven installation by Rod Mandel, curated by Mab MacMoragh. Mandel is an Artist and Founder of the Invisible Museum of Post Contemporary Art.

"Influenced by the writings of Jorge Luis Borges, Mandel’s work often takes the form of ‘historical fiction’, offering the viewer the freedom to decide which aspects, if any, they believe. Part of Mandel’s fascination with History stems from a contextual idea that history does not exist. “Your Assumption is Correct” is a metaphor for the act of reflecting on an idea. The piece is a process-based examination of recent poignant events in American Culture. The scene, an offshore oil rig transformed into a contemporary art museum, alluding to the indecipherable line between fact and fiction, is the predetermined context."

....even if the blurb is a bit arty.

:))

Interactive Art.

I have a toaster, RL, you put bread into it and click the button and toast comes out.

I have a lump of Plasticine (modelling clay), you push it and it changes shape..

....neither of them would I consider High Art.

The toaster does have a special sort of relationship to my life and provides a metamorphosed product which enriches and enhances my marmalade experience, and the plasticine does have potential....

Now, why do I have to go round touching stuff in SL.?? Interactive Art in galleries drives me nuts... ITS A MACHINE...unless it's a toy, of course.

Now, there are some absolutely amazing builds I have seen (like Selavy's Nested Cubes, poor photo below) that react to the avi and transform the actual build to such an extent that you can really be a part of a fun/creation experience...something I would class as Real SL Art, genius class, but most is disappointing in the extreme.

...there are art works that use the avatar as a structural part of the piece, again, I have to think of Incomplete Cube by Selavy [or this page top right] ... brilliant.

...and my point is...???... Well, I have just read Miso's post here.. and thought, in a round-a-bout way I would try and get to the essence of what I believe is Good SL Art.... as opposed to 'Art in SL' which is a different kettle of fish...in fact, a kettle of fish would be more amusing than most 'Art in SL'....[by the way it is 'Art in SL' that the Lindens are gonna 'Endow' with their old tax deductible servers (great insight, Crap..) rather than anything innovative].

What has stayed in my head after a year or two??

don't worry...not all in this post....

it may take a while... but clicking on stuff doesn't really do it for me (some pose balls excluded...)...

:)))

Sunday Omnibus

Well, apart from having a tantrum and throwing all the toys out of my pram, I did do some other stuff this week.. and one was to go to the opening of "It was all a blur"...

..and it was a bit....
participating artists included....

Allegory Malaprop
Apatia Hammerer
Bryn Oh
Daelia Dollinger
Jojorunoo Runo
Juliette Westerburg
Lyndyn Tzara
Miel Nirvana
Moo Money
Note Buaku
OMGWTF Barbecue
Radio Signals
Redd Columbia
Riki Yifu
Sanura Sakai
Selavy Oh
Serj Enoch
Sienia Trevellion
Stoic Ixchel
Surrealia Anatine
Vintage McMillain,
....with Radio Signals being the mastermind behind it all, as far as I could see....but...
... you don't get to see much. Not that that is a criticism, part of the point of setting white builds against white backdrop is the way shapes etc merge. ColeMarie did some last year and I have done a white build as well, so nothing radical there. It is trendy and striking for the first few minutes, then annoying and I lost interest quite quickly, maybe I wasn't in the mood.

Have a look...here.

I have been very critical of collab builds in the past so I wouldn't want anyone to think I was singling out this build, which is obviously a lot of work and effort....but..

...a shed load of objects, distributed round a sim needs more 'glue' than just being all the same colour, in my opinion. I have always tried, as a rule, to ask the question "if you lost one item would the Whole suffer?" as a way of determining the strength of the 'glue'.... I was glad there was no theme, and I welcome the idea of 'setting a stage'....

I thoroughly enjoyed the non-art-perfomance of Big Ramer at my local sand pit. Watching a fox build a speedboat is my sort of thing....

The Slipper Orchid...

...and the Cappuccino Vine I have rebuilt in InWorldz which is about to be pleasantly invaded by 12 sims of Elves. Elf Spirit Lands is taking on 12 'regions' which is over half a million prims......cool......more tree huggers.

..and the highlight of my week, tho RL dragged me kicking and screaming away (was in that sort of a mood this week) , was listening to the beautiful voice of Colemarie Soleil yesterday...sweet...

All in all, a very eventful week, and the decision to give up soror Nishi Beach was one I mulled over for a long time...still... life goes on....

:))

Bye Bye Tier...

....Bye Bye Beach...

I have decided I am paying tier for one more week... then, that is it.

I'm not gonna be disappearing, just the shop and the beach will. I have been on the beach for about three years now and I paid a fortune for the land which I will, of course, never get back..but I have had my money's worth out of it and have thoroughly enjoyed it.

....reasons??... well I am paying 650% more per prim than I would in InWorldz. My future lies in InWorldz, I think, because it is the only place where I could afford a sim, and to do a forest I would need a sim really...

Still, hope to do shows here and will still be able to rezz items for sale when asked...

I am starting my build at IBM on 21st August and hope to have it open a fortnight or so after that... so..plenty of building to do...

It's very emotional, if you think changing your av is hard...lol.... becoming homeless is even more so, but change is always better than stagnation.

:))

stat
