Wow, the users win and Blizzard does the decent thing...I am amazed, I was sure they would get no U turn on the Real Name issue, (namely that users would be required to log on to forums using their real names) but, it turns out the warriors win....great!!
Read more here.....or , if you cant' be bothered, suffice it to say that the CEO has backed down and seen that his users like the anonymity that immersive games provide (implied promise, even?) and acted accordingly.
Just goes to show that Lalo is right... "resistance is not futile"...
Let's hope our CEO isn't afraid to admit when he's wrong, and, let's hope we make as much fuss as the warriors when necessary....
