Alizarin Goldflake and Flivelwitz Alsop.
Aliz has been working with a great guitarist and has some great music now playing in the gallery....its really nice cos you fel like you can sit and listen and give her images time to work on you...well worth a visit. Im me, or Aliz if you don't have the LM already....
and....congrats to Caro on her 2nd. :))) one of my best friends in SL and a courageous voyager in the realms of the psyche....
A SLEEP OF PRISONERS
Dark and cold we may be, but this
Is no winter now. The frozen misery
Of centuries breaks, cracks, begins to move;
The thunder is the thunder of the floes,
The thaw, the flood, the upstart Spring.
Thank God our time is now when wrong
Comes up to face us everywhere,
Never to leave us till we take
The longest stride of soul we ever took.
Affairs are now soul size.
The enterprise
Is exploration into God.
Where are you making for? It takes
So many thousand years to wake,
But will you wake for pity's sake!

Thanks for the mention here (I'm a composer, actually, but that's ok)! I like the way Ali's sculptures use reflections, subconscious and slowness. And I hope my pieces reflect that as well.
